CeBIT 2017 - Amada Engineering Europe
From Mach 20th to 24th, AMADA participated to CeBIT, the world’s largest Information and Communication Technology annual trade fair held in Hannover (Germany), attracting a great flow of visitors.
This year, as never before, the exhibition has been able to offer the opportunity to touch with hands the potentialities of digitization: more than 3.000 exhibitors from 70 countries showed their technological innovations at CeBIT.
Great interest was immediately achieved by the Partner Country of 2017, Japan, which greatly impressed the more than 200.000 visitors attending with 118 exhibiting companies, and the announcement that from 2018 CeBIT will be held in June with a new formula that will make this exhibition the European reference platform for digitization.
Japan presented its own solutions occupying a surface of 7.200 square meters, the biggest national pavilion in CeBIT history.
The Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel attended the opening of this important event too; the welcome night took place in the Exhibition Center in the night of March 19th.
AMADA’s main aim was to present its new technologies focusing the attention on its five main Industry 4.0 principles:
1) Factory control
2) Manufacturing Design
4) IoT Servicing
5) IoT consulting
Thanks to the new “V-factory”, AMADA had the opportunity to show the Industry 4.0 concepts through a fully automated metal bending processing system by robot, and solutions to maximize customer’s profit.
The EG-6013 AR, showed during the exhibition, achieved a great success: it uses a high speed, high accuracy servo press brake with the world’s first dual servo press (DSP) drive mechanism. The press brake is combined with a robot optimized for bending small parts with the same speed as human operators.
Furthermore, with AEE support, demo on the new app “Amada Machine Monitoring” have been performed. This app is based on cloud solution and it’s able to monitor machines (machines status and working details), alarm and efficiency in real time.
Also in this case, as per Euroblech 2016, the market feedback has been very positive, making this first experience in CeBIT very fruitful.
Thanks to this new experience and strength of its know-how and expertise in the development of sheet metal working technologies, AMADA will continue to invest in the innovation to create solutions even more targeted to the needs of Smart Manufacturing.
